We get it, life’s busy!
Many of the committee and P&C Members are full-timers (be that paid work or care of children), so we totally understand how contributing precious time can be a challenge.
The good news is you don’t have to join the executive committee to contribute—every bit helps! Here’s a few ways to get involved.
Come to a Meeting
The BNPS P&C meets at 7 pm on the first Monday of each month during school term. Some meetings are held in the school staff room and the rest are via Teams.
We warmly invite all parents and carers to join – you don’t have to be a P&C member – to hear more about what is going on at school, to contribute to decision-making, plan fundraising events and share ideas, and to meet other members of the school community.
Next meeting: Monday 1 Dec 2025 – please email pandc@bnps.au for more details.
Become a Financial Member
Financial members have the ability to vote on motions, be on parent committees, have a say on what we use funds for and vote in the executive committee at the AGM.
They also can stand for executive committee positions. It only takes a couple of minutes to join – click here for the online membership form.
Volunteer
Got an hour? Got ten? Prefer backstage prep or helping kids at the stalls? Whatever your style, we need you! Every event relies on volunteers like you—jump in and lend a hand.
More hands make light work – if you would like to be involved with fundraising and events and meet some great people while doing it – please reach out to our Fundraising Coordinator at pandc-fundraising@bnps.au.
Supporter
Can’t make it to the school at the times we need volunteers, we get it! Assist by donating goods and or money donations, pass on messages to your
community, spruik events with your networks.
Join the Executive Committee
Govern the organisation and be the voice of the community to the school and the school to the wider community. The exec committee also
has sub-committees including BASC, Spending and Uniform.
Other ways you can help!
If you’re time poor, there are other ways to assist the P&C, for example:
- If you own, work for, or know a business to approach for sponsorship or donations of goods/services
- Offer your expertise in your field of work:
- Accounting & audit
- Not for profits
- Graphic Designers
- Landscapers & Horticulturalists

- IT & Website Specialists
- Share ideas for a fundraising events or alternative income pathways
- Spread the word and encourage others in your network to participate or donate
- Read information and participate in questionnaires, polls, surveys about P&C matters
- Inform any other carers in your family that we’re always looking for volunteers
