Getting involved with the P&C is a great way to support and connect with your school community
Meetings
The BNPS P&C meets at 7 pm on the first Monday of each month during school term. Some meetings are held in the school staff room and some are online.
We warmly invite all parents and carers to join – you don’t have to be a P&C member – to hear more about what is going on at school, to contribute to decision-making, plan fundraising events and share ideas, and to meet other members of the school community.
Next meeting: 3 March 2025 – please email pandc@bnps.au for more details.
Become a Member
Annual P&C membership is open to all parents and carers of students attending the school and to all citizens within the school community.
Why become a member?
Being a P&C member entitles you to raise motions for voting, vote on resolutions at general meetings, hold an Executive or committee position, and must be renewed each year.
Fundraising & Community Events
We hold a range of events every year that support Bexley North Public by fostering community within the school and raising funds to support our contribution to important school facility upgrades and other school needs.
Welcome events
We welcome families of new kindy students each year with a ‘Tears & Tissues’ pack to help get them through the transition of their little one to ‘Big School’.
We also host a welcome BBQ for the whole school community in Term 1.
Fundraising
We hold various fundraising events each year, including Mothers’ and Fathers’ Day stalls, BBQs, raffles, and often a major fun or family event for students and/or their families.
More hands make light work – if you would like to be involved with fundraising and events and meet some great people while doing it – please reach out to our Fundraising Coordinator at pandc-fundraising@bnps.au.
